Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about FastSave and media downloading.

Is it legal to use FastSave?

FastSave is a tool designed to analyze and download content you own, that is in the public domain, or that you have received explicit permission to use. You are solely responsible for compliance with the terms of service of any third-party website and local copyright regulations.

Why was my link rejected?

The URL may be invalid, point to a private or password-protected resource, or the platform might be temporarily disabled in the administration panel. FastSave also strictly enforces security measures to block unsafe server-side request forgery (SSRF) targets.

Can I download private posts?

No. FastSave values privacy and system integrity. We do not support downloading private, login-protected, DRM-protected, or paywalled media under any circumstances.

How long are files kept?

We prioritize disk space and user privacy. Cached files on our servers expire automatically shortly after they are successfully generated and are permanently removed from disk.

Do you offer an API?

Yes, FastSave provides a fully versioned developer API. You can generate API credentials directly from your account (or developer status page) and query format analysis or request download tasks programmatically.
